Hi, I'm Charlie! I've blossomed since arriving at DARE, transforming from a shy newcomer into a happy and bouncy 13-year-old ready for adventure. I have a great appetite and greet each morning with enthusiasm, eager to run with the pack, chase squirrels, explore the great outdoors, and investigate every interesting nook and cranny.

Ideal Home

I do well with kids, cats, and small dogs, and I'm a hit with everyone in the house! While I enjoy the company of small furry friends, I thrive best as the only dog or with small dog and cat companions, as I'm not the biggest fan of larger dogs. I love to snuggle up in bed with my people, but I'm also happy to sleep in my crate if that's your preference. I'm house-trained and crate-trained, and I'm always up for a good sniffy walk on a leash.

Ongoing Health

I experience some anxiety during thunderstorms, so a calm and comforting space during bad weather would be greatly appreciated.

Training & Support

I listen well and am eager to please. With a little guidance and a lot of love, I'm sure to continue to be a wonderful companion.
