About Lucy June Scout

Lucy June Scout is a delightful mix of adventurous spirit and sweet companionship, all wrapped up in a curious, affectionate, and confident package. At just over two months old and weighing around 5 pounds, she's a Labrador Retriever and Carolina Dog mix who approaches the world with bright eyes and a gentle demeanor. Her foster home has given her a fantastic start, focusing on her development into a well-rounded adult. Lucy is social, enjoys meeting new people and animals, and is eager to learn and explore. She's also quite the traveler, having already been on multiple RV trips and settling in beautifully, making her an ideal copilot for any adventure.

Ideal Home

Lucy would likely thrive in a home ready for the joy, laughter, and occasional puppy antics that come with raising a young dog.

Ongoing Health

Lucy is up-to-date on all her vetting, which includes DAPP vaccines with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, and flea prevention. She has also been spayed and received a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has tested negative for heartworm. A health certificate deeming her healthy for travel is included.

Training & Support

Lucy is making wonderful progress with her training. She is successfully using potty pads and is beginning to understand that grass is the ideal place for her business when outside. She will continue learning house manners, leash skills, and other basic commands, and she's proving to be an eager and attentive learner.
