Bear

Bear is a sweet 3-month-old puppy who weighs 8 pounds. His mother is a small dog, so we anticipate Bear will also be a small adult dog, likely around 16 pounds. He's a delightful little boy who has completed his veterinary care and is ready to find his forever home. Bear's journey began when his mother was surrendered to a shelter we partner with in rural South Texas due to being pregnant with unwanted puppies. Thankfully, a compassionate volunteer opened her home to Bear's mama, providing a safe haven for her to give birth. Now, Bear is ready for his next adventure!

Ideal Home

Bear has done great with children as young as 6 years old. He also enjoys playing with other dogs and has shown no aggression towards cats, making him a potentially wonderful addition to a multi-pet household.

Ongoing Health

Bear has been neutered and is up-to-date on his vaccinations, including rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella. He is microchipped, heartworm negative, and is current on flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Bear is house-trained.
