Chook, also known as Chaz JuM, is a charming Bully Breed mix with a soft, rich red coat and unique, quirky ears. Weighing in at around 42 pounds, Chook is a compact and handsome pup. He was rescued from a situation where a well-meaning bystander could no longer care for him, but luckily, he found his way to foster parents who are professional dog trainers! This has been a fantastic opportunity for Chook, as he's learned valuable commands like "sit," "down," and "place," and he's also becoming a pro at responding to leash guidance.
Chook can be a bit shy when first meeting new people, but once he's comfortable, he transforms into a playful and energetic companion. He enjoys expressing himself vocally and loves to zoom around the backyard like a happy goose. His play style with people can be a bit "mouthy," so he would do best in a home with older teenagers rather than young children.
Chook is very social with other dogs and would thrive in a home with canine companions. While he can sometimes be a little pushy in his interactions, he's easily corrected and eager to please. He hasn't been tested with cats.
Ideal Home
