Babe Ruth

Meet Babe Ruth! This handsome 98-pound Boxer and American Bulldog mix is three years young and ready to hit a home run with his forever family. Babe was rescued from the BARC daily kill list in April 2025 and has since been thriving in his foster home. He's a well-traveled pup, currently residing in Tomball, Texas.

Ideal Home

Babe Ruth is a big softie who loves to snuggle and thinks he's a lap dog! He's great with people, children, and other pets, but he would likely do best as the only dog in the home or with female dogs, as he tends to be an alpha male and can be dominant with other male dogs.

Ongoing Health

Babe is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all vaccinations and heartworm/flea prevention.

Training & Support

This well-behaved boy is fully potty trained and crate trained. He's an inside dog who is allowed to wander freely during the day at his foster home and never causes any mischief or destruction. He also happily settles into his kennel at night for a good sleep. Babe is eager to please and greets new visitors with a friendly demeanor.
