Puka is a funny and playful adult dog who is a real gentle giant with lots of love to give. He is affectionate and friendly, and is sure to be your very best friend. Puka is smart and curious, and loves to explore, so he'll be forever grateful for plenty of sniffs! His history with other dogs is terrific, and he truly is a friendly pup who is always up for a good time. He would likely enjoy the company of other dogs as long as they are introduced properly. All vetting: DAPP, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, spay/neuter, flea prevention, heartworm testing and prevention, and micro-chipping are included with adoption.

Training & Support

Puka is a rescue dog and will require continued training efforts. We have spent countless hours with him, learning all of his quirks and goofy personality. He has had socialization through playgroups and one-on-one bonding time, and work on leash training and basic commands. Our goal is to adopt to families who understand that rescue dogs need patience and continued training.

Transporation

Puka is located in Angleton, TX. He is available for adoption in VA, PA, CT, VT, NY, UT, ID, OR, TX, WA, & OH. Dogs are transported via air-conditioned buses with two drivers and two onboard attendants providing 24-hour care. You will be able to follow your pet's journey on a private Facebook Event page. Your Adoption Coordinator will help you find the closest transport pick-up location.
