Buddy

Hi, I’m Buddy and I’m looking for my forever home! I’m an 11-year-old gentleman who still has plenty of pep in his step! I’m happy to be a couch potato or join in on the fun with some silly running around. I’ve been with my foster mom for almost a month now and have been doing wonderfully. I started out in a kennel and was great, and now I have free roam of the house. I sleep in my foster mom’s office during the day and love to join my foster fur siblings on the couch or participate in neighborhood watch at night. I sleep in the human bed at night – though I use dog steps to get up to my foster mom’s high bed. I love to play outside and have recently discovered the joy of dog toys! I do bark when visitors first arrive, but I quickly get excited to meet new people. I have a fenced-in yard to explore and I also love walks, where I'm a great leash walker. I haven’t had any accidents in the house since living with my foster family.

Ideal Home

Buddy enjoys the company of other dogs, both male and female. He also loves to snuggle up with his people at night.

Ongoing Health

Buddy is 11 years old and has no known health conditions.

Training & Support

Buddy is house-trained and walks well on a leash. He barks at first when visitors arrive but quickly warms up. He's learning to use dog steps to get onto higher surfaces.
