Meet Rosita, a sweet and loving little companion with a Black Mouth Cur mix. She was estimated to be born around September 28, 2025, and weighed 30.6 lbs as of March 12, 2026. Rosita and her sister Chiquita were found as strays in the Bayou, but even with an uncertain start, Rosita has maintained a wonderfully gentle spirit. She is incredibly friendly and affectionate, thriving on human attention and soaking it up as if she's waited her whole life for it. Rosita gets along well with other dogs and is expected to do well with cats, making her a versatile addition to many homes. While her sister might be the life of the party, Rosita offers a calming presence, preferring quiet moments, cuddles, and simply being by your side. She's at a perfect age to grow with her forever family, learn routines, build trust, and become a loyal, lifelong companion. Rosita has so much love to give and is just waiting for someone to give her that chance.

- Our adoption fees are based on the vetting we put into each dog. Fees for puppies (under 12 months) are higher because they require more vetting than dogs over 1 year.
- Listed breed is based on a best guess estimation by rescue and veterinary staff; DNA tests are not included in adoption.
- Our adopters are eligible to receive 50% off training with Curbed Behaviors Dog Training for programs booked within 30 days of adoption, and 25% off programs booked within 60-90 days of adoption.
