Dakota

Dakota is a sweet 2-year-old Poodle mix who is truly a joy to have around! She's considered "the easiest dog" and would be happy as an only dog or as part of a pack. Dakota has overcome a difficult past; she was emaciated and had no access to food, but her weight has been restored, and she's now thriving with zero health issues. She has blossomed from being afraid of everything to loving all that life has to offer. Dakota enjoys her toys and loves to spend time lounging in the sun outdoors! She doesn't climb on furniture, as she was trained not to by her previous owner.

Ideal Home

Dakota would do well in almost any home, whether it's an apartment or a house. She can be an only dog or live with other dogs.

Ongoing Health

Dakota is up to date on her shots and microchip. A dental cleaning is pending.

Training & Support

Dakota is a house-trained superstar! She was trained to use a potty pad in her apartment days and has since mastered a doggy door, making her fully potty-trained for outdoor needs. Due to her past, Dakota does exhibit food guarding, so she needs to be fed separately from other pets.
