Hi, I'm Lil Debbie!

I'm a 3-year-old, 42lb pitty mix who was born in April 2023. I'm a social butterfly who loves meeting new people, and I'm told I'm playful, sweet, and outgoing. I'm house-trained, crate-trained, and I know "sit," "stay," and "down"! My foster parent says I'm the easiest foster ever. I love to hang out with my people, whether we're on a walk or snuggled on the couch. I'm curious, a little clumsy, and very quiet – I hardly ever bark! I'm also happy to entertain myself with my toys.

My absolute favorite things are snuggling, squeaky toys, treats, walks, and car rides. My favorite color is orange (yes, really!). I especially love orange blankets and fluffy orange toys. I have a moderate energy level, but I'm just as happy taking a nap as I am going for a walk, as long as I'm with you. A short walk followed by a long nap is my ideal day. I'm an adorable girl with a great smile! My beginning was a bit sad – my owner became homeless and could no longer care for me, so he surrendered me to a shelter. Sadly, it was a kill shelter, and I was facing euthanasia due to lack of interest and overcrowding. Thankfully, my foster stepped in and rescued me!

I'm a little clumsy and sometimes bump my head. I'm solar-powered and love to sunbathe! I'm a very quiet girl, so I might do well in an apartment. I adore kids and can have an independent streak, enjoying my own time. I love car rides and would be happy to join you for a weekend coffee run. I can sleep anywhere – soft blankets, dog beds, or crates! Dinner time is my favorite! I don't love rain or getting my paws wet, but I tolerate baths. I'm not much of a chewer; I prefer soft, squeaky toys. Oh, and I can totally rock a hoodie or sweater!

With the right dog and proper introductions, I've done well with other dogs, but I am dog-selective. I prefer calm dogs who will let me engage at my own pace. I walk well on a leash and don't pull, but I am leash-reactive, so I'll need ongoing training to manage that energy. I would do best with an experienced owner or in a home where my walks won't involve too many unpredictable situations.

I'm like Elle Woods – a girly-pop with a signature color, looking for a nap-time buddy who doesn't mind a little cute snoring. My superpower is squeaker extraction – no squeaker is safe! Ideal Home

I'd love a home that understands my need for calm energy and a bit of independence. While I love kids and can do well with calm, well-matched canine companions, I would do best in a home where my leash reactivity can be managed with ongoing training and in situations with fewer unpredictable encounters.

Ongoing Health

I am up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations, monthly preventatives, and I am heartworm negative. I have also been spayed.

Training & Support

I am house-trained and crate-trained, and I know basic commands like "sit," "stay," and "down." I am leash-reactive and will need ongoing training and management to help me feel more comfortable on walks. An experienced owner would be beneficial.
