Jonah

Jonah is a sweet, senior gentleman looking to trade his shelter life for a comfy couch. Estimated to be born around October 2013, Jonah is between 10-12 years old. He's been a resident at the shelter for years and is dreaming of experiencing the joys of home life for his remaining time. He prefers quiet evenings and is happy to relax in a crate in the office. While he was a bit more rambunctious in his younger days and had some attitude issues before his thyroid diagnosis, he has significantly calmed down with age and proper medication. He's a gentle dude who enjoys toys and has a unique habit of trying to bury them in the play yard. He loves soft things but is tired of his belongings disappearing thanks to a roommate with a penchant for chewing.

Ideal Home

Jonah would thrive in a home without children or cats. He also prefers to be the only dog or with a calm, adult dog companion who doesn't mind him taking a break from playtime.

Ongoing Health

Jonah is fully vetted and has a lifelong thyroid medication he needs.

Training & Support

While Jonah has calmed down considerably, he still requires management around his specific needs. He is not a fan of children or cats.
