Meet Pretzel, a handsome bully mix with a heart of gold and a wiggle that's impossible to resist! His independently expressive ears and charming head tilts are just the beginning of his appeal. Pretzel is estimated to be between 1-2 years old and weighs around 72 lbs. He's a big boy with a puppy's spirit, eager to please and learn. He's incredibly people-oriented, often checking in with his handler and leaning in for affection. While he can get a bit jumpy and mouthy when excited, it's all in good fun, and with consistent guidance and positive reinforcement, he's learning to channel his enthusiasm. He's a smart cookie, especially when treats are involved, and already knows how to sit! Pretzel is learning to navigate the world with confidence and would thrive with a family who can provide him with structure, patience, and plenty of love.
Ideal Home
Pretzel would do best with a medium-energy dog who can help him learn appropriate social boundaries. He has shown promising signs with cats and may be able to coexist with them with a proper introduction.

Training & Support
Pretzel can be a bit pushy with other dogs and can pull on leash when excited. He is also learning to control his jumping and mouthiness when greeting people. He is highly food motivated, making training fun and effective. Consistency, redirection, and positive reinforcement will be key to his success.

Pretzel is located in Texas and can be transported nationwide using our rescue's USDA-certified transport system. Drop-off locations are available in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI, and Canada. A surcharge of $87 applies due to rising transport costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
