Meet Phillip, a 50-pound Staffy mix who's a champion at flinging plushie toys and a superstar at bath time! Phillip can be a little shy when you first meet him, but he's gaining confidence every day. He's also working on his leash manners, and while he might try to lead the walk initially, he gets back on track with a little patience.
Phillip is a social butterfly with other dogs, big or small, and has charmed pups of all sizes. He's friendly with men and women but is still learning that raised hands are for petting, not for anything scary. He needs a little extra understanding in this area, but he's learning that hands can be kind. Phillip has a moderate to high energy level, so he'll enjoy daily exercise and mental stimulation like walks or puzzle toys. He's crate-trained and doesn't dig, but he does love his chew toys, so supervised play is recommended. Phillip knows how to sit, and while he gets very excited about treats, he's making great progress with his impulse control. He needs a patient home to help him continue to grow into a confident and loyal companion.
