He absolutely thrives when he's part of the action, whether it's a family hike, a backyard hangout, or a fun training session. Tahoe is eager to learn and connect with his people, making him an ideal companion for someone looking for an active partner. He's house-trained, crate-trained, affectionate, and has a wonderful, people-pleasing disposition. Tahoe enjoys activity and engagement and is not a dog that wants to be left out.

Ideal Home

Tahoe would thrive in an active home where he can be involved in daily activities. He needs a cat-free home, as his prey drive is too high for feline friends. If there are other dogs in the home, they should be over 25 lbs to match Tahoe's size and enthusiasm.

Ongoing Health

Tahoe is up-to-date on all age-appropriate vetting, including vaccinations and preventative treatments.

Training & Support

Tahoe is a highly intelligent and trainable dog who responds well to guidance and positive reinforcement. While he can get a little enthusiastic during greetings, he learns quickly with consistent redirection. Transportation

Tahoe is currently fostered in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide through our USDA-certified transport system, which includes drop-off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada. There is an additional $87 surcharge for transportation. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
