Meet Dillo, a delightful male puppy born on March 19, 2026. At 6 weeks old (as of April 30, 2026), he weighs about 4 pounds and is expected to grow into a medium to large-sized dog, much like his 60-pound mother. Dillo's journey began when his mother was rescued from a dangerous situation near a busy freeway. Thankfully, she found safety and delivered a litter of healthy pups, including our sweet Dillo. He's a bundle of joy, described by his foster mom as the sweetest pup, and he's friendly with everyone he meets, including other dogs, cats, and children. Dillo adores belly rubs and playing with his foster siblings, but he also loves to snuggle in your lap. He will be ready for adoption at 12 weeks old, fully vaccinated and microchipped, and will be placed on a neuter contract to be neutered between 6 months and 1 year of age.
Ideal Home
Dillo would thrive in a home with a fully fenced yard or an active family that can help him burn off his puppy energy. While he enjoys the company of other dogs and would love a canine sibling to show him the ropes, it's not a requirement.
Ongoing Health
Dillo is a healthy young pup. He will be fully vaccinated and microchipped before adoption. He will be adopted out on a neuter contract.
Training & Support
Dillo is still working on potty training and crate training. He is catching on quickly to potty training and his foster family is diligently working with him. He currently does well in a baby-gated room and is being slowly introduced to his crate. We strongly encourage all families adopting puppies under one year of age to enroll in puppy obedience classes.
