Willy Wonka

Willy Wonka is a handsome 5-year-old Maltese mix who is looking for a home that will appreciate his unique personality. He knows how to use the doggie door and is doing well with his house training, though he occasionally needs a reminder to go outside. When prompted, he happily takes care of his business outdoors. Willy enjoys keeping an eye on the other foster dogs and has a tendency to herd them and let them know who's in charge. Despite his bossy streak, he is a very loving and affectionate companion who enjoys being close to his people. With patience, understanding, and love, Willy Wonka will make a devoted companion for the right family.

Ideal Home

Willy would do best with an adopter who understands dog body language and can provide him with a calm, predictable environment where he feels safe and secure. He cannot be placed in homes with large breed dogs.

Ongoing Health

All vaccinations, microchip, and spay/neuter are up to date and included in the adoption fee.

Training & Support

Willy can be sensitive and may snap if he feels threatened or frightened, so adopters should be mindful of his cues and provide him with a secure environment.
