Baxter

Baxter is a 2-year-old, 80lb male American Bulldog mix with white and black markings. He's a high-energy boy who absolutely loves to run and play, especially with his favorite jolly balls! Baxter is eager for attention and enjoys being both inside and outside, but his favorite place is right by your side. He spent 11 months in a kennel environment and is so ready to trade those bars for a loving home. He's good with other dogs, though he can be a bit clueless and hyper, so a patient furry friend would be ideal. While he likely plays a bit too rough for cats, he's a wonderful companion for people.

Baxter would thrive in a home with a yard where he can run to his heart's content.

Baxter has no known special needs or medications.

Training & Support

Baxter is still learning about "normal" dog things like leash walking, toys, and house manners, as he comes from a kennel environment. He will need a patient and kind family to help him adjust to his new life and learn at his own pace. Please reach out to us with any questions regarding his current confidence and training level.

• To speed up the process, please have your vet email a recommendation to us. A good vet recommendation will include your current pets on file, their vaccination status, and whether you provide recommended vet care to your animals.
• Once approved, we will contact you to set up a meet and greet at our facility.
