Jax (Owner Assist)

Jax is a playful, affectionate boy with a sensitive soul who bonds deeply with his people. Once he feels safe, he’s all about closeness, face kisses, and being your constant companion. He has a higher energy level and loves to stay busy, especially if there’s a good chew or bone involved. He’s not the right fit for every home—but for the right person, he’ll be an incredibly loyal and loving companion. ❤️

Ideal Home

Jax is looking for an experienced adopter who understands fearful dogs and is committed to building trust. He will do best in an adult-only home without small animals or small dogs, and any introductions to other dogs should be done carefully, as he can take a while to warm up to new roommates. He will also do best in a home where someone is around often due to his separation anxiety.

Ongoing Health

Jax is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations.

Training & Support

Jax is house trained and knows “sit,” and is working on “wait.” Training can be a bit of a challenge since he’s not very food or toy motivated, but he’s making progress with patience and consistency. All Better World Rescue dogs qualify for complimentary private and/or group training to help ensure a successful adoption.
