Opie

Opie is a sweet, resilient male Husky who came to us from Animal Control. He was found in heartbreaking condition, severely matted and neglected, but with the help of a sponsor, we were able to give him the second chance he deserved. His coat had to be partially shaved to relieve pain and allow him to start fresh, but we're confident he'll be just as handsome as ever once his fur grows back. Opie is also heartworm positive, and we are working closely with our veterinarian to ensure he receives the best care for a full recovery. He is finally able to rest, eat, and begin healing, and we're already seeing glimpses of his wonderful spirit. With time, love, and your care, Opie will surely shine!
