Meet Lucy Van Pelt, a stunning 4-year-old husky with a heart of gold and a mind to match! This intelligent and devoted girl, weighing around 45 lbs, is a true love bug looking for her forever pack. Lucy's foster family has found her to be the smartest husky they've ever fostered, and her piercing blue eyes sparkle with personality. She was rescued from a difficult situation where her previous family couldn't manage a skin condition, and she ended up on an at-risk list at a municipal shelter. Thankfully, our amazing team swooped in and gave her a second chance at life. She's now thriving, with her skin healing perfectly thanks to a healthy diet and special care.

Ideal Home

Lucy would thrive in a home with a structured routine that includes plenty of exercise, such as two 45-minute walks and a 30-minute play session daily. She's great at pacing herself and enjoys relaxing on her bed or watching the world go by from the deck. A work-from-home environment or a household with other dogs would be ideal to keep her company during the day.

Ongoing Health

Lucy's skin condition is healing beautifully, and she is doing wonderfully on a healthy diet. She is already spayed, microchipped, and fully vaccinated.

Training & Support

Lucy is a quick learner and highly treat-motivated, showing remarkable progress in obedience training. She is already house-trained and polite with visitors. True to her husky nature, she can be vocal when excited about food, but she is devoted to her pack and gets along well with other dogs.
