Tootsie

Meet Tootsie! This sweet girl was first brought to us as a devoted mama with a litter of pups. Her babies have all found their forever families, and Tootsie was adopted too. Sadly, through no fault of her own, she's back with us, and we're so excited to help her find a new family to cherish her.

Tootsie is a favorite among our staff and volunteers. She absolutely LIVES for butt scratches and will happily lean in for more! She's a big fan of squeaky toys, knows how to sit and fetch, and walks well on a leash. She's also house-trained and takes treats gently. With her calm demeanor and experience living with small children, we believe she'd be a wonderful companion for a family, a single person, or a couple. Tootsie has excellent focus and is eager to please, making her very trainable and responsive to treats or praise. If you're searching for a dog who will greet you with happy wiggles, shower you with affection, and remind you daily of the simple joys in life, Tootsie is the girl for you!

Ideal Home

Tootsie will need to be the only pet in the home, as she has no fondness for other dogs or cats.

Ongoing Health

Tootsie's adoption fee has been generously paid in full by a donor. Her adoption fee, which would normally cover a Home Again Microchip, a set of shots, de-worming, heartworm testing (if old enough), spay/neuter, and a 1-year rabies shot (if old enough), is already covered. An additional county license fee of $21 will be required.

Training & Support

Tootsie is house-trained, walks well on a leash, and knows "sit" and "fetch." She takes treats gently and is eager to please, making her easy to train.
