Hi there! My name is Jax, and I'm a sweet, shy Chihuahua mix looking for a loving home. Sadly, my previous owner passed away, and I'm now ready to find a new person to share my quiet companionship with. I'm a more reserved boy who truly enjoys a cozy lap to relax on. I'm a smart cookie and know "come" and walk well on a leash. I'm also crate and paper trained! I can be a little particular about my food and sometimes like to let people know I'm the boss with a little nip, but I also love to cuddle on my own terms.

Ideal Home

I'm an older gentleman who isn't very active. I get along with other dogs and cats, though I might get a little jealous if a cat tries to hog my favorite lap! I need a home with adults only and someone who is home most of the time to give me the attention and security I crave.

Ongoing Health

I'm already neutered and up to date on my vaccinations.

Training & Support

I'm generally well-behaved and have good leash manners. I'm crate and paper trained, but I do need a little help with my finicky eating habits and my tendency to nip when I feel possessive. I like to cuddle, but it needs to be on my terms, so understanding my cues will be key!
