Iris Darling Love

Meet Iris, a 5-month-old Staffy/Lab mix who's a professional kiss-giver and a certified snuggle enthusiast! This chocolate-colored pup has the sweetest face, floppy ears, and eyes that will melt your heart. Iris believes that affection is her full-time job and is eager to shower her favorite people with love. She's incredibly cuddly and will try to become your shadow, blanket, and best friend all at once! Iris also loves to play with other dogs, showering them with kisses and affectionate play. She approaches the world with a gentle nature and a heart full of love, though she might get so excited she has a little "happy pee."

Ideal Home

Iris would thrive in a home that enjoys an affectionate, people-oriented puppy. She's active enough for adventures but loves to be curled up with her favorite people. She has done well around cats with supervision and would do best with dog-savvy cats who appreciate a curious puppy.

Ongoing Health

Iris is up-to-date on all her vetting, which includes DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad-spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, and a 12-month injectable heartworm preventative. She has also been tested for heartworms.

Training & Support

Iris would benefit from positive training, structure, and opportunities to build confidence as she continues to grow and learn.

Transportation

Iris is located in Texas. We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our USDA-certified transport system. Available drop-off locations include WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, and Canada (with pick-up options in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY, or Brattleboro, VT). A $87 surcharge applies to cover transportation costs. Texas adopters must pick up from the Houston area.
