Meet AJ! This handsome fella is looking for his forever home. AJ and his brother were surrendered as puppies due to an accidental litter. He was adopted but sadly returned two years later when his owner moved away. AJ has been in his current foster home for almost 3 months.

AJ is incredibly shy and needs time to warm up to new people. He's low-energy when shy but becomes medium-energy when comfortable. He isn't food-motivated when scared but eventually becomes happy and silly once he feels safe. You may also notice that AJ has a different looking face; his foster mom thinks he is part fish or maybe part alien because of his huge eyes! He thinks she is just crazy but doesn't argue since she gives him all the love and treats he asks for!

Ideal Home

AJ needs a quiet and patient home where he can take his time to open up. He loves going on walks and playing, so an active forever home would be ideal. AJ would benefit from a family that understands his shyness and is willing to give him the time he needs to feel secure. He would also love to find a human who enjoys cuddling and being the big spoon at night.
