Zac

Zac is a handsome 5-year-old, neutered male Anatolian Shepherd mix who weighs about 60 pounds. He was rescued from euthanasia at a county shelter and is now in a foster home in San Antonio, Texas, awaiting his forever family. Zac is the epitome of a loyal companion, offering a perfect blend of playful energy and laid-back affection. He enjoys spending time with other dogs and loves to be near his people for relaxation and cuddles.

Ideal Home

Zac thrives in a home where he won't be left alone for extended periods. He enjoys the company of other dogs and is happiest when sharing his life with canine companions or his humans. He would do well with a family or single adopter looking for a devoted dog to shower them with love and keep them company.

Ongoing Health

Zac underwent FHO surgery on a back leg due to a previous, untreated injury. This surgery has healed well, and he has made a full recovery. No further medical intervention or medications are needed.

Training & Support

Zac is house-trained and crate-trained, happily entering his crate with a treat. He has shown no signs of resource guarding. While he has met new people well, he may need continued guidance on not jumping up when excited, especially with a family.
