We think this gorgeous girl is around 2 years old and possibly a Belgian Malinois/German Shepherd mix, but what we know for sure is that she is absolutely obsessed with her people. Ideal Home
Susu Sunshine would thrive with an active family who enjoys hiking, exploring, camping, road trips, or simply including their dog in everyday life. She could also do well in an apartment as long as she receives the exercise, enrichment, and quality time she craves. While she enjoys being around other dogs, she prefers calm, playful male dogs who understand personal space. She would also be perfectly content as your one and only dog.
Ongoing Health
Susu Sunshine is a healthy and happy girl. Her adoption fee includes all vetting, DAPP with booster, Bordetella, Rabies vaccine, multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, a 12 month heartworm preventative injectable, heartworm test and treatment if needed, and a microchip with free lifetime registration.
Training & Support
Susu Sunshine is a smart cookie who already knows 'sit' and 'down.' She is very treat-motivated and loves to learn. She walks beautifully on leash and has not shown leash reactivity, making her a wonderful companion for neighborhood walks and adventures. She will politely ask for affection and melts into your hands when you give it. She has met a teenager and was completely smitten. She will let another dog know if they're being too pushy, but she is fair and appropriate with her corrections.

Transportation
We facilitate adoptions nationwide using our rescue run USDA certified transport system, ensuring every pet travels safely and comfortably with 24/7 care. Our transport includes drop off locations in WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT, TN, KY, WI, MN, IL, WI and Canada (pick up in Bellingham, WA, Buffalo, NY or Brattleboro, VT for Canadian adopters). An $87 surcharge applies due to rising transportation costs.
