Alabama - Crate/Leash/House Trained. Good w dogs & cats

Alabama is a 6-year-old Heeler Mix who was rescued with his littermates from euthanasia in mid-2025. He's come a long way since then and has blossomed into a trusting and engaging pup. He's fully vetted and has graduated from training, making him leash, crate, and house-trained. Alabama gets along well with other dogs and has been exposed to cats and house pigs without any issues. While he's not quite ready for couch snuggles just yet, he's a work in progress who promises a journey full of heart, patience, and deep rewards. Alabama is looking for a special person who understands that healing takes time and love, and is ready to show him how wonderful a real home can be.

Ideal Home

A fenced-in yard is highly recommended for Alabama. We would recommend teens and up, as he is still a work in progress.

Ongoing Health

Alabama is fully vetted, microchipped, and up-to-date on all age-appropriate vaccinations and parasite prevention.

Training & Support

Alabama is leash, crate, and house-trained, and knows basic commands. He is still a work in progress and will benefit from continued patience and love.
