Panda the perfect doggy pal

Panda is a shy but sweet guy who loves to hang out with his favorite chew bone. He's estimated to be two years old and weighs around 50 pounds, with a beautiful black and white coat and a mellow nature that earned him his name. Panda truly shines when he has another dog to play with, especially a confident and goofy female companion. He draws a lot of confidence from his canine friends and would likely thrive as a multi-dog household. He was previously fostered in a home with children aged 5 and up and did well, showing he can be a wonderful family dog with respectful and gentle kids. Panda loves routine, daily walks (he's a pro on leash!), and car rides. He's also kennel and house-trained, and he absolutely adores snuggling up on the couch or even in bed with his humans.

Ideal Home

Panda would thrive in a quiet, serene suburban or rural home. He needs to be in a home with at least one other dog, but is not recommended for a home with cats.

Ongoing Health

Panda is up to date on all vetting, including vaccinations, deworming, flea and heartworm prevention.

Training & Support

Panda is still learning about life with humans and a stable home. He will need a patient adopter who will allow him a full decompression period. Our behavior team and his foster mom are available to offer guidance and support during this time.

Transporation

Panda is located in Texas and can be transported to WA, UT, OR, ID, VA, PA, OH, NY, CT, VT and Canada (Canadian adopters will need to pick up in Bellingham, WA or Brattleboro, VT). Transport is provided by our USDA licensed vehicles with 24/7 care.
