Hi there, I'm Scarlett! I'm a sweet Southern belle with charm, smarts, and the best goofy smile you've ever seen. My brother and I were found as puppies wandering the streets of rural North Carolina. He found his forever home quickly; I've been overlooked for a while now, but it's my turn to shine. I'm a loving, energetic, and slightly anxious girl who's still learning about the big world. I warm up slowly, but once I know you, I'll be your biggest snugglebug. Sit on the floor and I'll awkwardly crawl into your lap, cover you in kisses, and insist on being near you. I'm crate trained, potty trained, and walk beautifully on a leash. I love to be tucked in at bed time under my blanket and sleep soundly through the night — but when morning comes, I'm ready for adventure! I love the outdoors — a fenced yard or daily walks would be a dream! I'm a shepherd mix with plenty of energy to burn, so fetch and playtime are some of my favorite things. I promise to make you laugh with my silly antics and reward you with endless affection. If you're looking for a loyal, playful, and tender-hearted best friend, look no further. I'm ready to bring joy, love, and a little Southern sparkle into your home. Could that be with you?
Ideal Home
I'll do best with an experienced owner or someone patient and eager to learn. I'd likely do well with older, respectful kids who know to go slow at first. I'd be happiest as an only pet, though my confidence has grown considerably, and if the adopter is more experienced, I would be open to living with another dog (with a slow intro). A fenced yard or daily walks would be a dream!

Training & Support
I'm still learning about the big world and working on my confidence, so I'll continue to need support in my new home with socialization to help me feel at ease in new situations. Your new pet will require a refresher in house-training. We strongly recommend all new adopters enroll their new pet into obedience training. This provides for an easier transition into a new home, ensures the dog remains well socialized, and helps form a bond between the dog and the new family.
