Meet Teddy!
Teddy is a 3-month-old Pug/Shiba Inu mix who combines the charm of a Pug with the independent, spirited nature of a Shiba. She's adorable, confident, curious, and always ready to see what adventure she can find next. Like any young puppy, Teddy is still learning the rules of the world. She has plenty of energy, loves to play, and is currently working on understanding that human hands aren't chew toys. She does well in her kennel and is making progress with puppy basics, though potty training is still very much a work in progress. Despite her mischievous streak, Teddy is an absolute doll baby. She loves attention, enjoys being part of the action, and has the kind of expressive face that makes it impossible to stay mad for long. Teddy isn't looking for a couch potato lifestyle-she's looking for people who will embrace her puppy energy, help her learn, and enjoy watching her grow into an amazing companion. Ready for a little spunk, a little sass, and a whole lot of cute? Teddy may be your girl.
Ideal Home
Teddy will thrive with a family committed to training, consistency, and plenty of positive outlets for her busy puppy brain. Because she's fast, playful, and still learning her manners, she may not be the best fit for a home with very young children. She's also the type of puppy who can appear under your feet in an instant, so adopters should be prepared for a lively little shadow.
Ongoing Health
All Heart of America Humane Society dogs are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations.
Training & Support
Teddy is currently working on understanding that human hands aren't chew toys, and potty training is still very much a work in progress. She will thrive with a family committed to training and consistency.
