Opie is a sweet, resilient male Husky who found himself at Animal Control and was facing euthanasia. Thankfully, a sponsor stepped in, and he was brought to us to get the second chance he so deserves. When Opie arrived, he was in rough shape with severe matting and signs of neglect. Our team immediately began the process of making him comfortable and safe. While some areas of his coat had to be shaved for his well-being, he's now on the road to recovery, looking and feeling much better. He's also being treated for heartworm, and we're working closely with our veterinarian to ensure he gets the best care. Opie is now resting, eating well, and starting to heal. We're already seeing his sweet and spirited personality emerge, and with time, love, and proper care, we know he'll blossom into the beautiful Husky he's meant to be!

Ideal Home

Opie would do well in a home that can provide him with the care and attention he needs as he recovers.

Ongoing Health

Opie is currently being treated for heartworm. We are partnering with our veterinarian to ensure he receives the best possible care and recovery plan.

Training & Support

Opie is house-trained. Further guidance and training will be provided to help him continue to thrive.
