Nero

Nero is a charming Belgian Shepherd/Malinois and German Shepherd Dog mix with a whole lot of love to give! This energetic puppy has been raised in our foster program, giving him plenty of experience with adults, children, and other dogs. He's even had some exposure to cats! At 16 weeks old, Nero has already participated in our "Reading to Rescue Pups" program and attended many events, making him a well-socialized and confident pup.

Ideal Home

Nero would thrive in an active home where he can get plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. His foster program experience suggests he'd do well with a family that includes children, other dogs, and potentially cats.

Ongoing Health

Nero has received a wellness exam by a licensed veterinarian, has been dewormed, and is up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations for parvo/distemper and Bordetella. He is also microchipped and registered with 911PetChip. He will need to be spayed/neutered between 6-8 months old, and this procedure is covered by the adoption fee by our veterinarian.

Training & Support

As a puppy, Nero will benefit from continued training and socialization to help him grow into a well-behaved adult.
