Vader

Meet Vader – a big, beautiful German Shepherd with a heart full of love and a spirit yearning for freedom! This sweet, goofy boy arrived as an unclaimed stray and is currently at the City of Utica shelter. Kennels are no place for a dog of his caliber; he craves space to run, play, and simply be a dog.

Vader charmed everyone at a recent event, graciously accepting head kisses and pets despite his stressful kennel situation. He's excellent in the car and shows curiosity, not aggression, when barking at other dogs. While he's been good with other dogs, a meet-and-greet would be required before adoption. He hasn't been cat tested yet. Vader deserves a loving home where he can zoom around and relax by his person's side, ready to shine once out of the shelter environment.
