About Minnie Mouse

Minnie Mouse is a delightful, approximately 20-month-old, 43lb mixed breed girl with a heart full of love to give! She's a cuddle queen who will happily melt into your feet for attention. Minnie has had a bit of a rough start and is looking for a patient and loving family to teach her the ropes from the ground up. She's a playful pup who enjoys her walks and absolutely adores playing with other big dogs. While she gets the zoomies, she also knows the importance of a good nap!

Ideal Home

Minnie would do well in a home that can provide her with consistent guidance and positive reinforcement. She is a curious girl who enjoys meeting new friends, including dogs, people, and even squirrels! However, she has a strong protective instinct and dislikes bikes, so she'll need guidance to understand they aren't a threat. While she doesn't require a fenced yard, she can jump a standard fence, so she'll need to be closely supervised when outdoors and always on a leash. Minnie is great with cats and would likely do well in a multi-pet household. She also adores children and has learned to be gentle with them, so she'd thrive in a home with kids who can help reinforce good behavior.

Minnie is housebroken and crate trained. She sleeps well in her crate and will voluntarily go in to relax or play with toys. She will alert you when she needs to go potty. She is medium on leash and will pull, requiring direction to stay close. Her strong desire to greet everything she sees will need to be managed with training and redirection.
