Amy Fay

Amy Fay is a sweet, gentle soul who was rescued from a dangerous situation at a train yard. Despite her terrifying start, she has blossomed into a loving and eager-to-please companion. Amy is a "soft" dog, meaning she's a worrier who truly wants to do her best and make her humans happy. She's about 10-12 months old, weighs around 50 lbs, and appears to be a Dutch Shepherd mix. Amy is incredibly smart and learns quickly, especially when motivated to please. She has a playful side and enjoys romping with her foster siblings, but she's not overly energetic. She also has a surprising love for water! Amy bonds very tightly to her people and showers them with affection.

Ideal Home

Amy would thrive in a home with another friendly, resident dog who can be her confident companion. While she showed no reaction to cats at the vet, introductions should be done gradually.

Ongoing Health

Amy is completely vetted, heartworm negative, and spayed. Her adoption fee includes all vaccinations and her microchip.

Training & Support

Amy is catching on quickly to house training and crate training. She is a smart dog who would excel in further training. She is a bit shy at first but her true, loving personality shines through once she feels comfortable.

Transporation

Amy is currently in a foster home in Boerne, Texas. Transport may be available to the PNW.
