Ralph

Ralph is an approximately 8-month-old luv bug who craves attention! He was found as a stray, and when his owner didn't claim him, he joined our rescue program. Ralph's previous living situation wasn't ideal, as he had neck injuries from a collar and lacked basic manners. However, he's a smart boy and is learning so much in his foster home, including leash walking, not jumping up, and forming bonds with people. He gets along well with other dogs. With a little extra training, Ralph will blossom into a wonderful pet and friend.

Ideal Home

Ralph would thrive in a home where he can receive plenty of attention and continue his training.

Ongoing Health

Ralph had neck injuries from a collar, but is otherwise healthy.

Training & Support

Ralph is currently learning leash walking and how to greet people without jumping. He will need ongoing positive reinforcement training to help him build confidence and good manners. He is considered a Level 2 dog, and potential adopters should familiarize themselves with what that entails.

Transporation

Ralph is in a foster home and not at a single kennel location. We operate within a reasonable driving distance from the Greater Sacramento area, the Central Valley down to Merced, and Lake Tahoe. Transport is available within these areas, determined by volunteer availability. We do not adopt out of our service area.
