Deliah is a sweet, cuddly sweetheart who wants nothing more than love and affection. Her story didn’t start the way it should have; she was rescued from a hoarding situation where she was kept outside in a crate without a proper bottom, left in the woods/backyard. Despite that rough beginning, Deliah still has her fun curiosity and loving spirit. Now safe and finally learning what it means to be cared for, she’s soaking up all play, comfort, and attention she can get. This petite hound has her heart always set on giving and receiving love; she's all about the pets, any kind, anytime, and anywhere. She'll be by your side ready to receive pets, love, and fun interactions at any given time; she's an awesome partner in life, always ready to go. Want to spread some happiness and make new friends? Bring extroverted Deliah, the social butterfly, with you to the park or coffee shop patio and you'll see lots of smiles and joy. Her cute tail rarely stops wiggling. Deliah adores being close to people, especially her people, whether that’s curling up for snuggles, climbing on your lap, or quietly following you around the house. She’s learning that the world is a safe place now and is blossoming more each day with patience and reassurance. The veterinarian estimated her to be around 7 but she certainly acts younger, so we estimate her to be around 4 years old. Transporation
Deliah is located in Houston, Texas. Transport is available out of state. We coordinate with multiple transport services that operate weekly to Eastern states and bi-weekly or monthly to Western states from Texas to your state or a neighboring state. These are ground transports using third-party vehicles (vans/buses) converted for dog transport. Each adopter has the ability to track the van using the app Life360, and receives updates from transport along the way. Facebook chats are another resource to stay informed on tracking dogs on transport. Please be able to use one of these available services if you wish to follow your adopted dog on transport.
