Freya - SENIOR AT RISK

Freya is a sweet 7-year-old Shepherd mix who is urgently seeking a loving home. She's been at the Kern County Animal Services shelter since May 27, 2026, and it's a difficult environment for dogs, with over 300 animals in crowded conditions. Freya is at risk due to limited space and the high number of abandoned dogs. She's ready to leave the shelter and find her forever family.

Freya needs a home where she can feel safe and cherished. As she is a senior, a calm environment would be ideal.

Transporation

Freya is located at Kern County Animal Services - Bakersfield Shelter. CAPS can arrange transportation for adopters on the West Coast, but adopters will be responsible for any transport fees.
