Meet Oceans Breeze Golden Retrievers/Jacob's Golden Retrievers. I am a retired Veterinarian Technician and have 20 years experience . My son is my co owner he is special needs and enjoys working with the puppies and dogs. We specialize in breeding AKC Golden Retrievers . Our puppies are family raised. Our puppies have wonderful temperaments and have excelled as service and therapy dogs. We raise happy healthy puppies that will bring you a lifetime of happiness. We strive to provide the ideal Golden Retriever for the family pet,therapy or performance. All our puppies are raised in our home along with our children and receive the best care with lots of love. Our Golden Retrievers are breed for Beauty, Temperament and Soundness. Sires and Dams have exceptional pedigrees All of our puppies receive lots of love, attention, socialization and are started on basic training. Here is our routine for giving our puppies a great foundational start in order to become the best possible member of your family. Each week building we build upon the next. 1-2 Weeks of age: Handled, cuddled, picked up. and turned over, while gently being spoken to. 3 Weeks of age: Introduced to the grooming table and given a "mock" grooming session. 4 Weeks of age: Introduced to crate. 5-6 Weeks of age: Introduced to "treats" (for baited commands) puppy parties in the yard and house. Introduced to the command "careful" for learning to take treats . Introduced to outdoors, different surfaces, noises, etc. 7 Weeks of age: Begin "baited" commands sit, down, shake etc. 8 Weeks of age: Time to go to their "new forever" homes Our dogs have competed in DockDiving, , Lure course, scent work and barn hunts. They are Therapy dogs, service dogs, Canine Good Citizens and Farm Dog certified. These dogs are your all around dog and will do whatever you would like to do with them from a quiet day at home to a exciting day of dockdiving to just a leisure walk on a trail.
