Miss Jasper first came to rescue after being pulled from an overcrowded rural Texas shelter where black puppies like her can easily get overlooked. But these days? She's no longer the shy little puppy hiding behind everyone else.
Now she's out here running the household like she pays the mortgage.
At around 12 weeks old and now a mighty 9 pounds, Miss Jasper has officially come out of her shell and fully embraced her role as the confident older foster sister to little Chrissy. Backyard zoomies? She's leading them. Tug-of-war? Absolutely participating. Baseball games? Apparently she attends those too and naturally becomes the star of the show.
She's playful, social, funny, affectionate, and has one of those personalities that gets bigger the more comfortable she becomes. Miss Jasper loves exploring, loves attention, and has fully discovered that life outside a shelter is actually pretty amazing.
And honestly... the LOOK of this puppy is unreal.
The giant cartoon ears.
The tiny white boots.
The spotted little chest.
The expressive face that somehow looks both adorable and mildly judgmental at the same time.
She genuinely looks like someone designed her in an animated movie and accidentally made her real.
Like so many black puppies in rescue, Miss Jasper waited longer than she should have for someone to notice her. We'd really love for her next chapter to finally be the easy one. 🖤
