About Little Bear

Little Bear has truly blossomed since arriving in foster care, and we're so excited to share her updated story! Initially a shy girl who observed the world from a distance, she has blossomed into a confident, social companion. She's discovered that people are pretty wonderful and now happily soaks up attention wherever she goes. At adoption events, she's become quite the fan favorite, greeting visitors and enjoying all the affection she receives.

Little Bear has also started to embrace her playful side, especially when puppies are involved. She loves having canine friends to romp around with. While she can occasionally be a bit grouchy when first meeting unfamiliar dogs, she does well with the dogs in her foster home. She has also met a cat at an adoption event and was respectful. Outside, however, all bets are off – she loves to chase cats, squirrels, and deer! Most of the time, Little Bear is a laid-back girl who enjoys taking life at her own pace. Her personality can best be described as confident, a little bossy, and just the right amount of stubborn. She knows what she likes, but she redirects well when needed and is making great progress with her training. She has been attending group classes to learn some basic obedience and life skills.

Ideal Home

Little Bear prefers to do her business on walks rather than in the yard, so regular strolls are a must. She enjoys the company of other dogs and has been respectful when meeting cats.

Ongoing Health

No specific health concerns were mentioned in her listing.

Training & Support

Little Bear is making great progress with her training and has been attending group classes. She can be a little bossy and stubborn but redirects well. Car rides are still a work in progress, as she tends to drool and get sick, but she is improving!
