Meet Glacier, a gentle giant from our Alaska litter. If you've ever dreamed of having a big, fluffy best friend with a heart just as big as his paws, Glacier may be your perfect match. This sweet boy is happiest flopped over on his back, patiently waiting for belly rubs. He greets other dogs with wonderful manners, strolls along on leash at his own relaxed pace, and enjoys taking in the world around him. Whether he's entertaining himself with a toy or quietly sitting beside his favorite person, Glacier is simply content being part of the family. Like many Great Pyrenees-type puppies, Glacier has a thoughtful, independent personality. He responds beautifully to gentle, consistent guidance and would thrive with an adopter who understands (or is excited to learn about) the unique traits of this incredible breed. Glacier is looking for a family ready to invest in a loyal companion who will grow into a devoted, affectionate guardian and lifelong friend.
Ideal Home
Glacier would love a home with another friendly dog or children to grow up alongside. He truly enjoys having companions and lights up when he has someone to share life with. Due to his vocal nature, an apartment or shared-wall living situation is unlikely to be the best fit. He'll need a very secure fenced yard, as he's shown curiosity about exploring beyond fencing.
Ongoing Health
Glacier is a 4-month-old Great Pyrenees mix, expected to be LARGE when fully grown. His adoption fee includes age-appropriate veterinary care completed through our program.
Training & Support
Glacier is still working on crate training and car rides and isn't shy about telling you they're not his favorite. Meal time is very exciting for him, and he's learning polite manners instead of jumping and barking. He responds beautifully to gentle, consistent guidance.
