HEY HEY HEY, I'M BOO!

And let me tell you I am READY to bring the fun! I'm a sweet, playful guy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. My life took a wild turn when my amazing foster mom found me on a freezing November morning. There I was, dragging a leash, searching for warmth and maybe a snack (because priorities, right?). I must have been outside for a while because I was a bit of a mess – bad fleas, a not-so-great smell, and definitely in need of some TLC. But my foster mom? She's a superhero. She and a friend got me cleaned up, flea-free, and feeling like a million bucks! I wasn't chipped, and no one came looking for me, so Save-A-Bull swooped in to help me find my forever family. Since landing in my foster home, I've been thriving. I've got two awesome foster siblings: Honey, my best bud and wrestling partner, and Aaron, who's a little shy but still totally cool. Honey and I GO HARD with playtime, zoomies, and all-out wrestling matches. I've also spotted the neighbor dogs through the fence, and let's just say I know we'd be besties if we got to meet!

You get with me (Hint: A LOT of Awesome!): 41 pounds of pure, adorable energy – the perfect size for fun and snuggles! Kennel trained; I'm quiet, tidy, and totally fine hanging out in my kennel. Playtime enthusiast; if you like fetch, tug, zoomies, or wrestling, I'M YOUR GUY. Adventure-ready; I'd love to be your running, hiking, or road trip buddy! Certified Snuggle Expert; I am ALL ABOUT the couch cuddles. Just try to stop me! Learning new tricks! My foster mom is teaching me my name (though I hear a lot of nicknames: Boo Boos, Boo Bear, Booty Boo; I answer to all of them). Squirrel patrol captain; I take my job very seriously. If you need a buddy to keep an eye on those sneaky backyard critters, I'm the one for the job.

Ideal Home

I would do best in a home with dog-savvy adults who are willing to continue working with me. I may do best being the only pet for now, or with a calm, respectful dog companion, depending on the home setup.

Ongoing Health

I was treated for fleas and am now flea-free.

Training & Support

Like many dogs who have had a rough start, I have developed some resource guarding around toys and my kennel. I'm learning that I don't need to protect what I love. I'm currently working on this with my foster mom and am showing improvement with consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement. My foster is happy to guide you through what's been working for me so far.
