She was unfortunately starved, used for breeding, treated unkindly, and then dumped before coming to us. Despite her past, Simone is an incredibly sensitive and intuitive being with so much love and forgiveness to share. She is gentle, protective, and incredibly loyal, with a curious and playful spirit. Simone adores affection and cuddling, often expressing her desires by gently hiding her face in a crevice. She has learned to truly be a dog in her foster home, enjoying adventures, nature, walks, and car rides, and even camping! She loves to snuggle on the couch and is playful with her canine foster brother, Ollie, whom she adores, often chasing like a big red jungle cat. Simone startles easily but calms just as quickly, and she thrives with reassurance and gentle guidance. She is very smart, food-motivated, and easily trainable, always eager to please her humans. Simone's greatest wish is to be with her people, enjoy the outdoors, and have plenty of snacks!
