Dottie is a delightful 4-year-old, 62-pound bundle of joy looking for her forever family! This sweet girl is fully vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed, and she's ready to fill your home with love and laughter. Dottie is a true cuddle bug who also loves to play, making her a wonderfully balanced companion. Her foster mom describes her as a loyal and intelligent girl with a goofy personality that's sure to make you smile. She's very food motivated, which makes training a breeze, and she's always eager to please.
Ideal Home
Dottie would thrive in a moderately active home where she can enjoy at least one good walk or play session each day. While she enjoys playing with other dogs, she does best with one or two calm, larger dogs. She would also be happy as the sole pet, soaking up all your attention. Dottie has a moderate to high energy level, loving to run and play, but she's equally content to snuggle up with you. Dottie would do best in a home without young males or boys, as she seems to have had a negative experience with them in the past. She is, however, absolutely wonderful with women and adult men.
Ongoing Health
Dottie is up-to-date on all her vaccinations, microchipped, and spayed. She is in excellent health and ready for her new life.
Training & Support
Dottie is already a pro at walking calmly on a leash, though she can get excited and pull a bit or bark if she sees another dog. She is also fully potty trained and crate trained, and she settles well even when allowed to free roam. Her intelligence and food motivation make her a quick learner, so continued positive reinforcement training will be a joy.
