Ridge

Ridge is an 8-month-old Anatolian Shepherd who, despite his rough start in a hoarding situation, has blossomed into a sunny and social pup! He's playful, gregarious, and genuinely happy to be around people and other animals. Ridge is friendly with other dogs and even gives cats a pass. While he's still a puppy, he's a large, opinionated one who's growing into a very large, opinionated adult. His adopter will need to understand the Anatolian Shepherd breed and be prepared to offer consistent structure. Ridge is convinced life is excellent, dogs are fun, people are useful, cats are acceptable, and the Roomba is a demonic floor creature that should never be trusted!

Ideal Home

Ridge is recommended for a home with children over the age of 10. He will also require a fenced yard. This breed is not suited for apartment living or a casual leash-walking-only lifestyle. Prospective adopters should be prepared for a very large adult dog; Ridge is already tall and still growing!
