Meet Tallulah! This sweet 6-year-old, 45-pound pocket pittie is overflowing with love. She might be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she's a goofy girl ready to shower you with unconditional affection.

Tallulah's past is a bit of a mystery; she was rescued from the streets of NYC and was at risk of euthanasia due to overcrowding. Despite her uncertain beginnings, she's eager to find her forever family. She's a "girls' girl" who tends to connect more quickly with women, likely due to past experiences. However, she's proven that she can warm up to men too! She adores her Foster Grampa and has become comfortable with her male vet techs and a few male friends. A nice walk will make her your new best friend, but she's equally happy to spend the day cuddling and watching movies.

Ideal Home

Tallulah would thrive in a home where she can be the center of attention, though she has shown potential to get along well with another dog. She might even do well with a cat, as she's shown little interest when around them.

Training & Support

Tallulah is crate trained and walks beautifully on a leash. She's still working on some basic commands but is generally well-behaved in the home. She's also very tolerant of grooming, including baths, nail trims, ear cleaning, and teeth brushing, often responding with happy snorts or purrs!
