Hi, I'm Bru! I'm a 5-year-old Australian Cattle Dog / Heeler Pit Mix with a lot of love to give, but I do like to take my time getting there. I've been through a lot, so I'm a little discerning when it comes to new people. But once I decide you're my person, my loyalty and affection are boundless! I'll gaze at you with all the love in my heart, especially if you have a tennis ball or are ready for a game of fetch.

Ideal Home

I'm looking for someone patient and understanding, preferably a woman, who is willing to take the time to build trust with me. A good throwing arm for fetch is a huge plus! I do best in a home with a fenced yard, and bonus points if you already have a collection of balls ready for playtime. I prefer to be the only dog in the house and would also do best in a home without young children. I also prefer to eat my meals alone.

Training & Support

I'm not an "instant bonding" kind of guy. I prefer a "slow burn, emotionally rich indie rom-com" approach to relationships. I might stare blankly at you at first, but please don't be offended! I promise I am worth the wait and any extra meet-and-greets. I can also get a little jealous, so I'd prefer to be your only furry friend.
