Truman

Truman is a sweet, curious boy who was found abandoned in a box with his littermates. Thankfully, a kind stranger rescued them, and after receiving much-needed care for fleas, ticks, and ringworm, they are now on the road to recovery. Truman has made incredible progress and is no longer fearful of human touch, but he is still learning to trust. He is playful with other dogs and would thrive in a home that can offer him encouragement and build his confidence.

Ideal Home

Truman would do best in a home with an experienced adopter who understands he is a flight risk and needs continued confidence-building. He may not be suited for homes with small children due to his skittish nature.

Ongoing Health

Truman was treated for fleas, ticks, and ringworm upon rescue and is now appearing healthy.

Training & Support

Truman is still learning to trust humans and can be skittish. He will benefit from continued patience and positive reinforcement to help him gain confidence.
