Skye

Meet Skye, a 14-week-old mixed breed puppy with a beautiful black, brown, and white coat and a gentle, sensitive nature. Skye can be a bit shy when first meeting new people or experiencing new environments. Things like doorways or unfamiliar spaces can make her nervous, so she will need a patient adopter who understands that building confidence takes time. With consistency, reassurance, and positive reinforcement, Skye will continue to grow more comfortable and secure. Once she feels safe, Skye shows her true personality—she is incredibly sweet, affectionate, and loves being close to her people. She enjoys toys and playful puppy activities, and her treat/food motivation will be a great asset for training. Skye does well with other dogs and is comfortable around cats, making her a great fit for a multi-pet household with proper introductions.

Ideal Home

Skye would thrive in a patient and understanding home, where her adopter is willing to help her build confidence. A calm environment is preferred, and a commitment to training and socialization is essential. While Skye may not be the type of puppy who runs up to everyone right away, for the person willing to give her the time she needs, she will become a deeply loyal and loving companion.
